libkcompactdisc4 software package provides CD drive library for KDE Platform (runtime), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkcompactdisc4
libkcompactdisc4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkcompactdisc4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkcompactdisc4 *
You will get with libkcompactdisc4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
